Investigator (portable)

A powerful portable search lamp for scene of crime, leak detection and environmental health applications. A 9 watt compact lamp, housed in a specially designed reflector housing, gives the equivalent UV light output to much more powerful mercury arc lamps. Other advantages over mercury arc lamps are the instant start, with full light output achieved in a few minutes, low heat output, longer effective life (5000 hours plus), lower cost and instant re-start after being switched off. The Investigator is very light weight and has a convenient pistol-grip handle. Power is from any 12 volt DC source, and when used with our PP-7A battery pack the whole system becomes completely portable, and may be used in any location.
